Why we built Auditee
The truth is, security can be boring, time consuming and feel never-ending.
I know. I've experienced this first-hand. For 8 years, I was COO at a fast-growing SaaS startup. Over time, I started to see customers trust and security expectations increase, dramatically. Helping to improve customer trust and complete the endless influx of security questionnaires became, yep you guessed it, my problem. So, like many companies (drowning in questionnaires) I started looking into Trust Centre software to help us demonstrate our security posture and build trust with customers. But here’s the problem: when I looked at the available solutions, I was shocked. The quotes I got were obscene. $15k to $20k for software that, whilst important, shouldn't come with a price tag that breaks the bank. That’s why we started Auditee. We wanted to create a trust centre platform that’s accessible to businesses of all sizes. A solution that gives you everything you need without forcing you to break the bank. We’re a small team, but that’s our strength. Being small allows us to care deeply about every customer and every feature we build. We understand the headaches and the hard work that security, legal and sales teams go through to win and keep customers.
